What can you do with the flashcards?
Simple play: Chat with your little one as you look through the cards. Who do you see? Which animal is the friendliest/biggest/funniest? Who eats the most food?
Sensory play: Getting your hands right into the learning material! Give your child a baking sheet with sand, rice or lentils and bury the cards underneath. Playdough is also a great way for your child to interact with flashcards by ‘feeding’ the animals bits of playdough food.
Memory: Place the cards upside down on the floor and take turns searching for animals with your little one. When she is older, you can take turns searching for a specific animal. When she is still learning the colours, you can simply take turns ‘revealing’ a new jungle friend.
